I wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you. I came across CarEdge on YouTube only a few months back.
After seeing a couple of videos, I went to the website around mid December and found a Mercedes in my price range in my area. It’s a beautiful C class, low mileage and prices below market value.
On December 23, 2024 I went and purchased the vehicle as a present to myself.
The vehicle was only listed on car edge and of course on the dealer website but I wouldn’t have found it and at that price if it weren’t for Car Edge.

Unfortunately, my experience with Car Edge was very disappointing. I always try to remain positive and am more than willing to support businesses with great reviews when they deserve it. However, in this case, my experience was the complete opposite of what I had hoped for.

I paid for the concierge service to save time and avoid the hassle of searching for a car, but I ended up spending even more time and effort doing the work on my own. After waiting for two months, I was assigned a different concierge, but they weren't much more helpful. They continued to direct me to a car in Florida, despite the fact that I live in Kentucky, and insisted there were no similar options available nearby. Eventually, I did my own research and found several cars in my state. At that point, I had no choice but to cancel the concierge service and finalize the deal on my own.

I also reached out to the manager, Ryan, for assistance, but unfortunately, I never received a response. Eventually, I requested a refund, which was partially granted according to their policy.

While I’m sure some customers have had positive experiences, mine was far from ideal. My advice: do your own research first. The concierge service may be helpful for used cars, but when it comes to new cars, there’s little flexibility, and you may end up doing most of the work yourself.

No way could I have found and negotiated this car (600 miles from home) for almost $4K under MSRP for a brand new model in limited supply without the help of the CarEdge Concierge team. Using the concierge service is the only way to locate desired vehicles and negotiate with dealers. Joe Hoffman is an excellent coach and advocate. His guidance is sagely. I was looking for a Mazda MX-5 Miata Club edition. In my local market there was only sports and GT editions. We had to search the entire state. Joe, on my behalf, negotiated the out the door price. When I made my way to the dealership, I insisted on using my credit union and placed a large down payment to control the monthly payments. The dealer did try to up-sell services and Joe was available by text to coach. Ultimately I removed all up-sells and paid the out the door price. The experience was great and I learned a great deal about negotiations and sticking to your guns when dealing with predatory dealers.

I used CarEdge Concierge service, and I am happy that I did. From day one, they were very responsive. I was assigned a personalized Concierge, and he was with me every step of the way through the process as promised. Zee found the car I wanted, down to the color and features that I was looking for and it’s beautiful. Zee stayed in contact with me when negotiating the deal with the car salesman at the Lexus dealership. By the time I made it to the dealership the only thing that I had to do was to test drive the vehicle and sign the paperwork because everything was already negotiated. If anyone has thought about using a car buying service, I highly recommend using CarEdge Concierge service they were amazing and worth every penny spent.
