Our 20 year old Master bathroom was is decent condition and our budget just did not allow for me to do all I wanted to freshen it up. Our renovation budget just would not allow me to do all I would have liked to have done all at once. The shower, however, was really showing its age. My husband had attempted to regrout some areas that needed attention, but the job just was not as perfect as I would have wanted. No matter what we did, the floor was the worst and even after cleaning it, it still looked "nasty". I got Edgar's name from Bonnie Tile on Indiantown Road in Jupiter, where we initially had the bathroom redone 20 years ago. Bonnie Tile has been in business as long as I can remember and I thought I could trust them for a referral of someone who would want to do a small job and do it well. Amber at Bonnie Tile told me Edgar was "responsive" and often did refurbishing tile work for them and they had never had any problems with jobs Edgar had done for them. Edgar returned my phone call within minutes after I initially contacted him and because he was in the area he offered to come over immediately to give me an estimate. Edgar is pleasant and professional and he explained all he would do to bring our shower back to looking new. He asked for a partial deposit and promised he'd have one of his workers come the next day. Juan was at my house at the time Edgar said he would be here and proceeded to work on our shower without incident. Juan was respectful of my home and worked very neatly and quietly and cleaned up whatever mess he had made with hand sanding the bad grout, regrouting and resealing the tiled ceiling, walls, floor and even the marble saddle into to shower. I originally had hoped to also have Edgar re polish my marble countertops as well but I had to limit the work he could do today based on my budget. Edgar offered to have Juan polish one of the smaller countertops right then and there for no additional charge so I could see how they would come out. I thought about taking him up on his offer, but I did not know when I could commit to have the other marble redone, so decided not to have him show me the job he could do. I have every intention of having Edgar come back when my budget allows me to continue. Edgar gave me what I thought was a very fair price for all the other parts of the bathroom- the marble countertops, cleaning and sealing the bathroom tile floor. I asked Edgar to give me an estimate for him cleaning and resealing ALL the tile in my 2300 sq ft home. After Edgar gave me the price and I was seeing him out he even offered to include my tiled exterior tile right outside my front door as well, for no additional charge. Edgar is very proud of the work he guarantees and was a pleasure to deal with. I would not hesitate to call him back as soon as my budget allows and plan to do so asap. It is refreshing to deal with a businessman and his worker who does what he says he will do when he says and to do such meticulous work.
